Maple & Mustard Salmon

Have you ever started making dinner with an idea in your mind….and then secretly prayed that you don’t ruin it? I decided to do that tonight and my praying worked. Thank goodness! I like to stare at my pantry and refrigerator to try and figure out what I can put together for a meal, especially for a sauce or a glaze. Mrs. Butterworth was staring at me and hinted she might wanna pair up with some dijon mustard. I said, why not?

Salmon filet
1/3 cup of maple syrup
1/3 cup of dijon mustard
salt and pepper

1. Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees
2. Season your salmon with salt and pepper
3. Mix the maple syrup and mustard together then place a layer of it on top of the salmon
4. Place on a pan or baking sheet and put in the oven
5. Let it bake for 20-25 minutes, depending on the thickness of your salmon
6. Drizzle another layer of the syrup and mustard
7. Add green onions if desired
